One of the most unique specialty games in the market, Ticket to Ride lets players claim railway routes and connect cities across North America.
Although the game’s story line has to do with a $1 million dollar winner-take-all competition to see the most cities in the continent in just seven days, the board game does not involve paper money or a banker. All they have to do is to collect train cards to own certain railway routes. The longer the routes created, the more points they earn. There is also additional points to players who can fulfill their Destination Tickets by putting up a train route that connects two distant cities, as well as to the player who builds the longest continuous railway.
Ticket to Ride by Days of Wonder can be played by two to five players, with ages 8 and older. Package includes a board map of North American train routes, 240 colored train cars, 110 train car cards, 30 destination tickets, 5 wooden scoring markers, an access number to Day of Wonder Online, and a rules booklet.
This board game is now available on Amazon for a listed price of $49.99.
