The iPhone Controlled Ball Dropping Bomber is a unique flying vehicle that comes with a table tennis ball holder inside it. It is designed to be a bomber and allows users to fly the toy around as well as drop its plastic cargo on a given target at a touch of a button. Controls are made possible with the use of the iPhone or the iPad using a free downloadable app. The toy uses the motion sensing accelerometers for simple pan and tilt movements that also control the bomber’s movements.
A finger swipe on the touchscreen controls the throttle and a button can be pressed to release the ping pong ball inside. The two contra-rotating main rotors keep the flying vehicle balanced. Its rechargeable batteries allow for 5 minutes worth of flying time for every 60-minute charge on a USB port. The flying vehicle can be controlled for a distance of up to 30 feet.
