Shooting sports are some of the more popular games that kid boys love to play. They love the challenge of shooting still and moving targets and develop their skills by practice. Some prefer playing the video shooting games while others prefer doing it from a safe and controlled shooting range. But realistically, shooting is not always ideal for small boys. But there are alternatives available. One of them is the Live Action Infrared Skeet Shoot.
The Live Action Infrared Skeet Shoot is a safer way for kids to improve their target shooting skills. Skeet shooting as a sport involves shooting targets that fly into the air. The Live Action Infrared Skeet Shoot tries to emulate this experience but using a harmless infrared gun. A target trap launches three targets into the air at different time intervals. The targets can go up to 3′ in the air when placed on a tabletop. Players then try to shoot at the targets before they land on the ground. Targets will break apart when the player successfully hits the targets with the infrared gun.
The targets can easily be snapped together for replay. The intervals between launching targets can also be adjusted depending on the player’s skill level. The trap requires four C batteries while the infrared gun needs three AAA batteries to work. The Live Action Infrared Skeet Shoot is ideal for kids from 10 years old and above. It is available at Hammacher Schlemmer for $70.
