Summer is fast approaching and kids may have more time in their hands to have fun and enjoy. While some prefer fun and games, it might also be a good time to develop the habit of reading. This is especially true for new and early readers just about to explore and discover the wonderful world of books. Here is a suggested summer reading list for early readers.

This is a story about helping those who are lost to find their place. Miss Maple gathers lost seeds who have not yet found a home to bloom. She takes them on field trips to explore different places where they can blossom. This book is quite ideal for early readers just trying to get around the habit of reading.
