I was preparing our dinner when my daughter came home from play and started begging me to buy her a doll. Not just any doll, but a Pinkalicious Doll.
“Pinkalicious,” I asked. I kinda giggled at the catchiness of the word, so much so I did not realize my daughter had been saying “yes” three or four times.
What’s a parent to do? I told her I would look into it, adding that if she continues to store her toys after playing she might just get a new doll.
Browsing through different retail websites, I learned that Pinkalicious is a soft cloth doll, much like Raggedy Ann. The doll stands 18 inches and is inspired from a series of best-selling children’s books of the same name. Pinkalicious, created by Jakks Pacific, is adorably pink with her princess dress and she comes with a gold tiara, a gold star wand, and pink wings.
This doll is suitable for children ages 3 and above. I would probably purchase some Pinkalicious books as well to enhance the experience, letting my daughter act out what goes on with the book using her doll.
