While my daughter is not yet old enough to own a doll house (at least in my opinion), I am seriously considering buying this on her 6th birthday. The LEGO Friends Heartlake City Pool is one of several build-your-own dollhouses from LEGO’s line of girl-friendly toys. This set features two of LEGO Friends figures namely Andrea and Isabella, who enjoy the long summer days dipping in the big, blue pool.
This dollhouse set consists of a swimming pool, diving board, water slide, hot tub, waterfall, changing room, a snack bar, and toilet with double-opening doors. That’s 423 piece all in all, including the mini-dolls’ accessories like hair bows, ice cream cones, palm trees, a cash register, and even money to pay for the snacks and drinks.
Like many LEGO Friends doll houses available, the Heartlake City Pool retains the block-ish aesthetic of LEGO but putting major usage of colors believed to be attractive to young girls like lilac and lavender.
The Heartlake City Pool is designed for kids aged 6 to 12. while this playset is skewed for little girls, their brothers can join in the fun pretending to be Andrea’s and Isabella’s lifeguard or snack bar attendant. It is now available at Amazon, with a listed price of $39.99.
